The three pictures show a pig which take bold action to save itself from being a hearty meal in China. In this incident, a pig brought in a truck to the slaughterhouse managed to free itself after jumping from the truck.
The pig named Babe, after the Hollywood movie, decided to jump 16ft from the truck. The incident in the south China was witnessed by a lot of people after the pigs roam upon the escape.
A witness said the pig first climbed behind another pig before jumping out of the truck which was heading to the slaughterhouse. The pig miraculously escaped without any injuries after the daring leaps.
"The pig was safe and sound after her leap but found itself lost in the big city. If we hadn’t have got to her he would have undoubtedly found himself at the end of a blade wielded by a local who would have enjoyed pork for days to come" said a police spokesman of Guangxi.
He added: "She saw one chance of freedom by clambering on the backs of the other pigs and took it. She deserves her chance of life and she has got it. She will never be eaten here"
Babe is now kept at the police station and is very happy in a pen that is usually reserved for police dogs.
